Job summary

SOPHiA GENETICS is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to drive West Coast field sales for NGS workflow products and genomics solutions, based in the greater Los Angeles area. This is a remote-friendly field role with substantial travel.

Responsibilities include prospecting, closing new business, collaborating with Customer Success, and guiding product management on market needs. 50-75% travel required, with a permanent, full-time position.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of consultative sales experience.
• Experience selling NGS or genomics products into Hospital Systems / Lab Environments, or wider commercial experience with enterprise software solutions.
• Hungry to learn about Genetics, Diagnostics or similar Health Analytics.
• A hunter mentality, driven by a desire to consistently generate new business.
• Ability to travel across territory to a minimum of 50%.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting, pitching and driving business development.
• Identifying and closing opportunities with new organizations.
• Drive consistent momentum in sales cycles and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure effective, customer‑focused onboarding.
• Advise the company and guide product management on market & product requirements.
