Job summary

SOPHiA GENETICS is seeking an Implementation Scientist to lead customers through end-to-end deployment of our genomic analysis platform. You will plan, configure, train, and drive adoption via the MaxCare Program, coordinating with cross-functional teams and customers across the US.

The role is field-based, with remote work from a home office and travel expected around 30%. Ideal candidates have strong genomics/biotech backgrounds and proven project-management and client-facing skills to deliver

Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Oncology or related field.
Direct experience with Next-Generation Sequencing, library prep, bioinformatics, and related products.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in a Commercial Technical support role in Genomics is highly valuable.
Strong project-management ability to coordinate diverse teams.

Responsibilities

Lead customers through successful SOPHiA GENETICS implementation projects.
Draft statements of work and manage project timelines with cross-functional teams.
Provide onboarding and technical training across defined workflows.
Translate lab, data, and clinical requirements into practical implementation decisions.
Build trusted relationships with customers and drive adoption remotely.
