Job summary

SOPHiA GENETICS invites experienced professionals to join as an Implementation Scientist in a field-based role supporting US customers. You will lead end-to-end deployment of our genomic analysis platform, collaborating across teams and traveling ~30% to sites for successful adoption.

The role requires a strong background in genomics, NGS, and bioinformatics, plus excellent communication and project management skills to translate complex requirements into practical customer solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in genetics, molecular biology, or related field.
• Direct experience with Next-Generation Sequencing and library prep.
• Strong understanding of bioinformatics and clinical regulatory concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead customers through implementation of SOPHiA GENETICS solutions from planning to adoption.
• Draft Statements of Work and manage MaxCare Program timelines.
• Provide onboarding support and technical training for the NGS workflow.
• Translate wet-lab, data and clinical requirements into practical solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent customer experience.
