Job summary

National Power, LLC seeks a Generator Service Technician to maintain and repair generator sets and related electrical systems in the Charlotte area and surrounding NC markets. You will work under the Service Manager and may travel frequently, including overnight stays, to job sites.

Expect training opportunities (Milwaukee and other locations) and a focus on safety, thoroughness, and customer service. A valid driver’s license and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required; Associate degree preferred in related field.
• Generac Power Systems certification preferred.
• Experience in military electrical power production a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair generator sets (5-5000kw) and ATS equipment.
• Troubleshoot engine and electrical systems; perform startup/commissioning.
• Assist other technicians on large jobs and complex issues.
• Provide clear verbal and written reports on status and needs.
