Responsibilities

• Applies knowledge of large rotating electrical machines, including generator design, operation, inspection, testing, maintenance, repair, refurbishment, and life assessment.
• Develops and manages research addressing generator degradation, failure mechanisms, operating risks, maintenance challenges, emerging technologies, and industry research gaps.
• Translates member needs and industry operating experience into generator research projects, technical guidance, tools, reports, webcasts, workshops, and other practical resources.
• Organizes and leads technical sessions at generator workshops, user-group meetings, webcasts, and industry events.
