Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of large rotating electrical machines, including generator design and maintenance.
• Develops and manages research addressing degradation, failure mechanisms, and industry gaps.
• Understands excitation systems, AVRs, and diagnostic testing.
• Evaluates generator interactions with the grid and operating cycling.
• Translates needs into generator research projects and practical resources.
• Leads technical sessions at workshops and user-group meetings.
