Job summary

Toptal is seeking a General Manager for Industrial Products & Services (IPS) in the United States. You will own strategy, growth, and profitability across Automotive, Manufacturing, Agriculture, Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Logistics clients with full P&L authority.

You will lead executive client conversations, shape proposals, negotiate terms, and drive sustained growth with AI solutions, managed services, and talent offerings. This is a remote role with US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading professional services sales teams in Industrial Products and Services (IPS) and Energy sector.
• 12+ years running an industry business unit with P&L responsibility.
• Strong relationships with director-level to C-level decision-makers.
• Proven track record closing complex enterprise opportunities.
• Fluent in technology, AI, and services delivery to discuss client priorities.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the industry strategy with growth priorities and budgets.
• Own P&L and budget; manage revenue, profitability, and investments.
• Win new enterprise clients and advance priority opportunities to close.
• Expand and retain client relationships across buying centers and portfolios.
• Build and develop the IPS team; coach performance and leadership.
