Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking a highly experienced General Counsel for a remote contract engagement. You will create, review, and refine contract negotiation playbooks, draft and annotate commercial agreements, and provide expert guidance on negotiation strategies and risk.

You will work independently, supply actionable insights for AI training, and collaborate with project teams to ensure materials meet guidelines and standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel, or Assistant General Counsel with a focus on contract negotiation playbooks.
• Expertise in drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial contracts in corporate settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of industry-standard practices for contract review and risk assessment.
• Experience developing or using contract negotiation playbooks for companies.
• Familiarity with document-driven project assignments, including sourcing eligible materials.
• Ability to work independently and provide concise insights for AI training.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and refine contract negotiation playbooks based on real-world scenarios and company requirements.
• Draft, analyze, and annotate commercial agreements, ensuring clarity and compliance with standards.
• Provide expert commentary on best practices for contract management and negotiation strategies.
• Curate and supply non-confidential, eligible transaction materials for project documentation objectives.
• Evaluate and optimize existing contract templates for efficiency and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure materials meet project guidelines and AI-training needs.
