Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking a General Counsel on a contract basis to craft and refine contract negotiation playbooks, draft and review commercial agreements, and provide strategic guidance on risk and negotiation practices.

The role requires strong writing and communication skills, deep knowledge of contract law, and the ability to deliver concise insights for AI training purposes, leveraging independent work style and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Current or prior General Counsel roles with emphasis on contract negotiation playbooks.
• Experience drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial agreements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with high attention to detail.
• Knowledge of industry standards for contract review and risk assessment.
• Familiarity with document-driven project tasks, sourcing and submission of eligible materials.
• Ability to work independently and provide concise insights for AI training purposes.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and refine contract negotiation playbooks for diverse scenarios and company needs.
• Draft, analyze, and annotate commercial agreements with clarity and precision.
• Provide expert commentary on best practices for contract management and negotiation strategies.
• Curate non-confidential, eligible transaction materials for project documentation.
• Evaluate and optimize contract templates to improve efficiency and mitigate risk.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure materials meet project guidelines and AI-training needs.
• Deliver high-quality written and verbal feedback to enhance system understanding.
