Job summary

AvonRisk is seeking a Claims Adjuster II to investigate, evaluate, and adjust General and Automobile Liability claims. The role covers low to medium exposure, including auto bodily injury, property damage, premises and product liability, requiring solid legal and technical qualifications.

The position is fully remote with a preference for candidates in California. Regular travel for mediations and hearings is expected, and benefits include a full package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• At least 5 years adjusting auto and general liability claims.
• Governmental immunity experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and process auto, bodily injury, property damage, and general liability claims.
• Consult police and hospital records, examine photographs and statements, and take recorded statements.
• Evaluate bodily injury demands and negotiate settlements.
• Evaluate auto total loss settlements and diminished value claims.
• Negotiate settlements including lien resolution (Medicare, Medi-Cal, provider, attorney liens).
• Maintain records and prepare timely status reports for clients.
• Respond to inquiries and maintain proactive communication with stakeholders.
