AvonRisk is seeking a Claims Adjuster II for a fully remote role in the United States, with a preference for candidates in California. The position requires handling auto and general liability claims, mediations, and travel for hearings as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; relevant work experience will be considered.
• At least 5 years of experience adjusting auto and general liability claims.
• Governmental immunity experience a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and process auto, bodily injury, property damage, and general liability claims.
• Consult police and hospital records, examine photographs and statements, and take recorded statements.
• Evaluate bodily injury demands and negotiate settlements.
• Negotiate and finalize claim settlements including lien resolution.
• Maintain records and prepare status reports for clients.
• Respond to inquiries and communicate with injured workers, employers, carriers, counsel, and vendors.
