Job summary

AvonRisk is seeking a General Liability and Auto Claims Adjuster II for a fully remote role with a preference for candidates in California. The position involves investigating and adjusting auto, bodily injury, property damage, and general liability claims, with regular travel for mediations and hearings.

Salary range $75,000–$90,000, with AvonRisk’s full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA contributions, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, PTO, and career

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant work experience will be considered.
• At least 5 years of experience adjusting auto and general liability claims.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including negotiation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and process auto, bodily injury, property damage, and general liability claims.
• Evaluate bodily injury demands and negotiate settlements; calculate total loss settlements.
• Negotiate and finalize claim settlements including lien resolution.
• Maintain records, diaries, and files on CMIS and prepare timely status reports for clients.
• Respond to inquiries promptly; communicate with injured workers, employers, carriers, counsel, and vendors.
