Job summary

Enterprise Products Partners L.P., based in NW Houston, seeks a Gas Pipeline Controller to operate pipelines remotely and oversee tanks and pumping equipment, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 60 college credits in oil and gas operations or related military/on-the-job experience, plus 2–3 years in the chemical or oil & gas sector. On-the-job training will be provided and a rotating 12-hour shift schedule will apply after training.

Qualifications

• 60 college credit hours with oil and gas field operations/plant experience or related oil and gas or air traffic controller experience.
• Associates degree strongly preferred.
• 2-3 years of Chemical or Oil and Gas industry experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
• Complete pre-employment screenings incl. background checks, DOT drug screen, and aptitude assessments.
• Strong verbal and written communication; capable of working with teams.
• Willingness to perform essential duties in an indoor office environment and work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Remotely starting/stopping pumps and/or compressors and operating valves.
• Monitor and control movement of material through pipelines and facilities.
• Analyze changing conditions and alarms and implement adjustments.
• Determine accurate times of pipeline events from batch listings and schedules.
• Maintain communication with field personnel, customers and suppliers to maximize efficiency, safety, and quality.
