Job summary

Energy Transfer seeks a skilled Control Center Operator to monitor and optimize pipeline pressures, coordinate with field teams, and respond to emergencies. The role requires strong PC and SCADA familiarity, multitasking, and diligent reporting.

The candidate must pass drug screening and be willing to work a 12-hour shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with possible travel to alternate control centers during emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 year degree preferred.
• Experience with SCADA systems is a plus.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain pipeline pressures within design criteria.
• Coordinate changes with ET departments and field personnel.
• Act as first point of contact in emergency situations.
• Maximize pipeline throughput with coordination during outages.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of communications, SCADA, valves and related equipment.
• Complete daily throughput reports.
• Maintain emergency notification and call-out lists.
• Evaluate operational problems and provide solutions.
