The AES Corporation is seeking a Developer, Gas Generation to lead the development of natural gas generation projects for large commercial and industrial customers, including data centers. You’ll work across engineering, finance, legal, and operations to deliver projects end-to-end.

You will manage feasibility studies, interconnection, permitting, and contracts while coordinating with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and relevant project development experience.
• Experience developing large-scale natural gas generation projects (≥500MW).
• Strong understanding of permitting, interconnection, and utility coordination.

Responsabilités

• Lead gas generation project development from site identification through construction support.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop integrated Powered Land Solutions.
• Evaluate feasibility, coordinate siting, fuel supply, interconnection, infrastructure and permitting strategies.
• Manage schedules, budgets, forecasts, financial models and risk registers.
• Engage stakeholders and support commercial negotiations and regulatory engagement.
