Job summary

AES Corporation is seeking a Developer, Gas Generation to lead the development of natural gas generation projects for large commercial and industrial customers. You will work across engineering, development, finance, legal, construction, and commercial teams to move projects from concept through construction handoff.

Ideal candidates bring experience in gas generation, strong project management and communication skills, and a passion for innovative energy infrastructure.

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead gas generation project development from site identification through construction support.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Data Center Development, Renewable Generation Development, Solutions Engineering and other teams to develop integrated Powered Land Solutions.
• Evaluate feasibility by coordinating siting, fuel supply, interconnection, infrastructure, and permitting strategies.
• Manage schedules, budgets, forecasts, financial models, and development risk registers.
• Coordinate pipeline identification, utility engagement, and fuel supply strategy while supporting commercial negotiations.
• Represent AES with customers, partners, regulators, and local communities; ensure compliance and successful handoffs to Construction.
