Job summary

V2X is seeking an Accountant to support the month-end close, reconcile general ledger accounts, and assist with compliance and audits. The role emphasizes strong GAAP knowledge and timely reporting in a remote setting across the United States.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting, 0–3 years of experience, and exposure to cost accounting. CPA is a plus, with proficiency in Excel and SAP/IFS.”

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related discipline.
• 0–3 years related experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• US citizen required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to a tight general ledger month-end close process.
• Records monthly journal entries accurately.
• Prepare and generate critical month end allocations and/or advices.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger account balances monthly – intra-company payables and receivables.
• Focus on process improvements over the general close and intra-company process.
• Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts under strict deadlines.
• Assist with internal control evaluations and document procedures.
• Support auditors with research, data requests, and system questions.
• Assist Cost and General Ledger Manager on projects as needed.
