Job summary

V2X is seeking a qualified Accountant to support month-end close, general ledger reconciliations, and financial reporting. You will ensure accurate journal entries, perform allocations, and maintain balance sheet integrity while complying with US GAAP.

The role requires a strong research skill set and collaboration with audit teams. You will work in a finance-focused environment with responsibilities spanning internal controls, cross-functional cooperation, and process improvements to enhance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum four (4) years' related experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Government contracting experience may be applicable.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to a tight general ledger month-end close process.
• Records monthly journal entries accurately.
• Prepare and generate critical month end allocations and/or advices.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger account balances monthly, including intra-company payables/receivables.
• Focus on process improvements over the general close and intra-company process.
• Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts under deadlines.
• Assist with internal control evaluations and document procedures.
• Support compliance and audits with data and research as needed.
• Assist Cost and General Ledger Manager on projects.
