Checkr is seeking a contract G&A and Operations Recruiter to source and guide top-tier candidates through a full hiring process. You will communicate Checkr's story and value while collaborating with hiring managers and bringing an entrepreneurial mindset to ownership and delivery.

This 6-month contract role emphasizes building relationships with candidates and managers, creating a standout candidate experience, and driving decisions across interviews and offers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of in-house recruiting experience hiring G&A and Operations talent at a tech company.
• Ability to manage a high req load.
• Strong sourcing ability and a diverse bag of tricks.
• Passion for creating an elite candidate experience.
• Great written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
• Time management and multitasking skills.
• A sense of ownership and accountability for the roles you own.
• An A-player mindset with a strong bias for action: raise the bar, move with urgency, stay resilient through ambiguity, and take ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers and executives to understand hiring needs and define requirements.
• Develop unique sourcing strategies to surface top passive candidates.
• Review resumes, pre-screen candidates, and drive the interview process from end to end.
• Organize and facilitate interview debriefs, helping to guide and drive decision making.
• Own the offer approval, extension and negotiation process, and effectively close prospective candidates.
• Create and maintain an amazing candidate experience.
• Attend recruiting and tech events as necessary.
