Job summary

Checkr, Inc. is seeking a contract G&A and Operations Recruiter to source and guide top candidates through our hiring process. You will partner with executives, craft unique search strategies, and manage end‑to‑end interview processes while maintaining a stellar candidate experience.

This 6‑month contract role requires proven in‑house recruiting success at a tech company, excellent communication, and a drive to own outcomes from outreach to offer. Hybrid work across Checkr hubs may apply.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of in-house recruiting experience hiring G&A and Operations talent at a tech company.
• Ability to manage a high requisition load.
• Strong sourcing ability and a diverse bag of tricks.
• Passion for creating an elite candidate experience.
• Great written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
• Time management and multitasking skills.
• A sense of ownership and accountability for the roles you own.
• An A‑player mindset with a strong bias for action: you raise the bar, move with urgency, stay resilient through ambiguity, and take ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers and executives to understand hiring needs and define requirements.
• Develop unique sourcing strategies to surface top passive candidates.
• Review resumes, pre‑screen candidates, and drive the interview process from end to end.
• Organize and facilitate interview debriefs, helping to guide and drive decision making.
• Own the offer approval, extension and negotiation process, and effectively close prospective candidates.
• Create and maintain an amazing candidate experience.
• Attend recruiting and tech events as necessary.
