Job summary

Checkr, Inc. is seeking a contract G&A and Operations Recruiter to source and guide top-tier candidates through the hiring process.

This 6-month contract role focuses on communicating the Checkr story and value proposition while building lasting relationships with candidates and hiring managers. You will collaborate with executives, develop sourcing strategies, and drive end-to-end interview processes, including offers and negotiations.

• 6+ years of in-house recruiting experience hiring G&A and Operations talent at a tech company.
• Ability to manage a high req load.
• Strong sourcing ability and a diverse bag of tricks.
• Passion for creating an elite candidate experience.
• Great written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
• Time management and multitasking skills.
• A sense of ownership and accountability for the roles you own.
• An A-player mindset with a strong bias for action: you raise the bar, move with urgency, stay resilient through ambiguity, and take ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers and executives to understand hiring needs and define requirements
• Develop unique sourcing strategies to surface top passive candidates
• Review resumes, pre-screen candidates, and drive the interview process from end to end
• Organize and facilitate interview debriefs, helping to guide and drive decision making
• Own the offer approval, extension and negotiation process, and effectively close prospective candidates
• Create and maintain an amazing candidate experience
• Attend recruiting and tech events as necessary
