Job summary

Alzheimer’s Association - Orange County Chapter seeks a Manager, Walk to End Alzheimer’s, to lead the world’s largest peer-to-peer fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Remote based in Gainesville or Tallahassee, you’ll build community partnerships, recruit and coach volunteers and drive revenue growth.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years proven experience in recruiting and mobilizing volunteers or meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Build sustainable corporate and community relationships to achieve revenue goals.
• Recruit, manage, and coach volunteers to implement fundraising practices.
• Manage multiple volunteer-led events with revenue growth year over year.
• Foster a positive, inclusive team environment and long-term community relationships.
• Meet or exceed revenue and participant goals through fundraising, sponsorships and partnerships.
• Prospect, cultivate and steward event teams, sponsors and participants.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and use data to drive positive outcomes.
