Zusammenfassung

Public Lab is seeking a Development Associate to manage daily fundraising activities, grants, donor relations, and education programming. The role reports to the Executive Director and supports growth through new funding streams and earned revenue, including DIY science kits.

The position requires strong writing, communication, and project management, with occasional after-hours work and travel. Remote-first with office locations in New Orleans, Brooklyn, and Providence.

Qualifikationen

• Approximately 5 years of demonstrated job experience in a related field.
• Experience with multiple funding sources (grants, memberships, earned revenue) for different programs is preferred.
• Experience in nonprofit organizations with budgets around $1 million+.

• Write, report, and manage private, corporate, and government funding.
• Draft narratives for grants and reports; ensure alignment with donor guidelines.
• Coordinate data collection from program staff for reports and proposals.
