Job summary

Asia Initiatives is seeking an experienced Development Officer in New York to elevate our fundraising from foundations and philanthropic donors. You will work closely with the co-founder, staff and Board Members to implement a strategic plan and expand our funding base.

Flexibility to work remotely with in-person meetings as needed; competitive compensation; strong networks in philanthropy preferred; 50–80K USD annual range.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and implementing fundraising plans.
• Extensive contacts in philanthropic fundraising space.
• Ability to collaborate with co-founders, staff and Board Members.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Asia Initiatives' fundraising plan within the strategic development plan.
• Identify foundations, corporations and donors and manage grant applications.
• Lead fundraising for the flagship Gala and other donor events.
• Support Board outreach and leverage external profiles.
• Manage CRM, records and communications for fundraising activities.
