Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Manager of Funding & Disbursement Operations to lead critical financial workflows from a fully remote US base. You will supervise funding, deposits, and payment processing while ensuring secure handling of client funds.

The role emphasizes building a remote, cross-cultural team, improving controls, and scaling operations. You will collaborate with escrow, accounting, and compliance to meet evolving regulatory needs and drive continuous improvement across financial processes

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in payments, banking, treasury, or related financial operations.
• Minimum 2 years in a people management role.
• Strong knowledge of US payment systems (ACH, NACHA, domestic and international wire transfers, checks, and card payments).
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop team members; build accountability and continuous improvement.
• Experience managing distributed teams across countries, cultures, or time zones.
• Track record of identifying inefficiencies, redesigning workflows, and measuring improvements.
• Analytical and critical-thinking skills to investigate problems and assess risks.
• Adaptability to evolving processes, systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using automation/AI tools to improve financial operations.
• Preferred: escrow operations, AML/BSA compliance, or international payments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a remote, cross-cultural team responsible for payment and deposit operations.
• Oversee deposits, disbursements, and other payment processing with secure handling of client funds.
• Maintain robust financial controls for approvals, verifications, and risk management.
• Define KPIs and drive efficiency to improve accuracy, productivity, and scalability.
• Collaborate with escrow operations, accounting, and compliance teams.
• Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and implement automation or AI-enabled tools.
• Investigate issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Build repeatable processes that enable ownership and scalable growth.
