Job summary

Luminary is hiring senior software engineers to own features end to end, turning customer ideas into data models and advisor interfaces. You will work alongside clients and experts to craft interfaces that advisors can use with confidence.

You’ll build graph-based knowledge, document ingestion, and tax/wealth transfer modeling with teams in a fast, remote-friendly environment supporting both in-office and distributed workstyles.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of software engineering experience at organizations with strong engineering practices.
• Comfortable across the stack: data modeling in Postgres, backend in Go, and interfaces in React/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with GraphQL (Apollo) and Temporal is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build agents with agents: design chat affordances and ambient agents; leverage coding agents (Amp) to build them.
• Follow existing patterns for data modeling, GraphQL, and component architecture; know when to adapt.
• Learn domain from wealth‑planning experts and collaborate with design to translate concepts for advisors.
• Work closely with design to convert tax/legal concepts into advisor-friendly interfaces.
