Job summary

Alkami Technology is seeking a Software Engineer to build scalable web applications in a remote-first US environment. You will write clean code, participate in full lifecycle, and collaborate within an Agile team.

Candidates typically have 2–4 years of software development experience, Java or C#, cloud, REST, and testing expertise; strong communication and on-call readiness are valued.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of software development experience or related field.
• Proficient in Java or C#, with full-stack development experience.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL and ORM frameworks.
• Understanding the software development lifecycle and cloud native infra.
• Experience working within Agile frameworks.
• Strong analytical and time management skills.
• Familiarity with monitoring and supporting production systems.
• Knowledge of REST API best practices and testing approaches.
• Able to contribute to on-call rotations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team player.

Responsibilities

• Write clean code to develop functional web applications.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, including debugging.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Develop and implement testing/automation frameworks.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Gather and address technical and design requirements with minimal assistance.
• Follow development standards within the team.
• Collaborate effectively within an Agile framework.
• Respond to on-call incidents and resolve disruptions promptly.
• Adhere to Alkami’s core values.
