The role requires deep expertise with MUMPS/InterSystems Cache, HL7/FHIR/EDIs, and collaboration with cross-functional teams within the Veterans Affairs domain. U.S. citizenship and Public Trust (MBI) eligibility are required; remote work is supported nationwide.

Qualifications

• Experience testing healthcare, government, or regulated systems.
• Experience testing enterprise healthcare applications in MUMPS/Cache.
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, HIPAA EDI).
• Experience developing detailed test plans, scenarios, scripts, and cases.
• Knowledge of SDLC and testing methodologies.
• Ability to analyze logs, failures, and defects to identify root causes.

Responsibilities

• Support QA activities for healthcare apps in a MUMPS/Cache environment.
• Develop and execute test plans, cases, scripts, and procedures.
• Validate releases and system upgrades; track defects and risks.
• Coordinate with developers, analysts, and end users to align requirements.
• Ensure data integrity across legacy systems and interfaces.
• Test HL7/FHIR/EDI transactions and vendor integrations.
• Document testing results and provide status updates.
