Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a talented Full Stack Developer (MUMPS) for a fully remote position. The role supports Veterans Affairs (VA) and requires U.S. citizenship with a Public Trust (MBI) clearance. This is a 100% U.S.-based remote position.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in software testing/QA, strong MUMPS/InterSystems Cache experience, and expertise in HL7/FHIR, EDI transactions, and healthcare interoperability. Salary ranges from $85,389 to $116,975 annually.

Qualifications

Experience supporting healthcare, government, or highly regulated environments.
Experience testing enterprise applications in clinical or healthcare operations.
Experience testing applications developed with MUMPS and/or InterSystems Cache.
Experience creating detailed test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, and test cases.
Experience performing functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, HIPAA EDI Transactions.

Responsibilities

Support testing for mission-critical healthcare applications in MUMPS/Cache environments.
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for healthcare apps.
Validate software enhancements, maintenance releases, defect corrections, and system upgrades.
Coordinate testing across functional teams and stakeholders.
Test HL7/FHIR/EDI transactions and healthcare interoperability.
Analyze logs and troubleshoot defects and production incidents.
