Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a Full Stack Developer (MUMPS) to support testing for mission-critical VA healthcare systems in a remote setting. The role emphasizes QA, test planning, and compliance with healthcare standards, including HL7 and FHIR, across legacy and modernizing environments.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in software testing/validation, MUMPS/Cache experience, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams. Public Trust (MBI) clearance is required; U.S.

Competenze

• Experience in healthcare, government, or regulated environments.
• Experience testing enterprise applications in clinical/healthcare operations.
• Experience supporting legacy, long-lived systems.
• Experience testing MUMPS and InterSystems Cache.
• Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, HIPAA EDI transactions.
• Ability to create detailed test plans, scenarios, scripts, and cases.
• Experience performing functional, regression, integration, UAT testing.
• Understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies.
• Experience validating database updates and data integrity.
• Ability to analyze logs, errors, and test results to identify root causes.
• Experience testing interfaces and system integrations.
• Familiarity with VistA and FileMan environments.

• Support testing for mission-critical healthcare applications in MUMPS/Cache.
• Assist modernization, enhancements, interoperability initiatives, and production support for legacy systems.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, scripts, and procedures.
• Validate software enhancements and system upgrades.

• Support root-cause analysis and verification of fixes.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on testing strategies for healthcare/government systems.
