Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a highly experienced Full Stack Developer (Edifecs) for a remote, US-based role supporting Veterans Affairs (VA). You will lead test planning, design, and execution across complex software projects with emphasis on Edifecs EDI workflows and compliance.

A Public Trust (MBI) clearance is required and 100% remote work is available. The position demands a deep understanding of testing strategies (manual and automated), SDLC, and Agile/Scrum, plus hands-on

• Proven track record on complex software projects with high-quality deliverables.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum SDLC processes and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in writing/executing test cases, scripts, and plans.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and version control (Git, SVN).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).
• Knowledge of Edifecs Edifact/X12 transactions and testing practices is a plus.
• Experience with defect tracking (JIRA, Bugzilla) and COTS products.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team, meeting deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and procedures to ensure compliance with standards and user requirements.
• Create test schedules, approaches, and test data for scenarios.
• Document and communicate test results and metrics to stakeholders.
• Support analysis and resolution of open issues and defects.
• Lead verification activities and recommend improvements to procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical test guidance.
