Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer for remote work on a contract basis. You will develop and maintain websites and digital products, leveraging TypeScript, Next.js, React, Node.js, WordPress, and PHP across the stack.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and a focus on code quality and reliability are essential. W2 consultants receive a benefits package including medical, dental, and vision, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Proficiency across frontend, backend, and CMS development using TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, WordPress, and PHP.
• Experience debugging production issues and improving code quality and system reliability.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and participating in code reviews and planning.
• Ability to document engineering work and adapt existing systems to evolving requirements.
• Familiarity with AI-powered engineering tools to enhance development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Contribute across the stack by writing clean, maintainable code with a focus on reliability, performance, and simplicity.
• Work with Frontend technologies (TypeScript, Next.js, React), Backend technologies (Node.js, TypeScript), and CMS platforms (WordPress, PHP).
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and external development teams to develop and execute new features.
• Debug issues, improve code quality, and strengthen system reliability.
• Own deliverables while seeking feedback and growth opportunities.
• Complete code reviews, create engineering documentation, and participate in planning sessions.
• Iterate and improve existing systems as business requirements change.
• Use approved AI-powered engineering tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development, testing, documentation, and refactoring.
• Provide after-hours and weekend support for production systems when needed.
