Humana Inc is seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer to own the NBA platform orchestration and state machine, built in Node.js/TypeScript on Temporal. You will lead a small team, write code, and ensure durable, observable action delivery across member journeys.

Responsibilities include designing durable workflows, activating decisions to AEP and Kafka channels, and delivering end-to-end reliability with idempotency and robust error handling. Remote/hybrid role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant area.
6+ years of full stack software engineering with 1–2 years in a tech-lead capacity.
Strong Node.js/TypeScript backend experience building production services.
Hands-on experience with Temporal or comparable durable workflow platforms.
Experience designing Kafka producer/consumer patterns in production.
Ability to lead a small pod and own end-to-end technical outcomes.
Experience operating cloud-native systems on Azure with Kubernetes and CI/CD.

Responsabilités

Own end-to-end orchestration pod delivery, planning, execution and quality.
Design durable workflows on Temporal in Node.js/TypeScript.
Own the action delivery pipeline from decision publication to activation and receipt processing.
Contribute code and mentor engineers, performing reviews and setting standards.
Coordinate interfaces with decisioning, activation systems, and platform teams.
