Humana Inc. is seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer to own orchestration and state machine for the NBA platform, built on Node.js/TypeScript with Temporal. You will lead a small team, ensure durable workflow execution, and manage delivery across member engagement channels at scale.

You will design durable workflows, implement outbox/patterns, and drive activation through Adobe Experience Platform and Kafka outputs. This is a hands-on leadership role with cloud-native, Kubernetes-based deployments.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant area.
• 6+ years of full stack software engineering experience, with 1–2 years in a tech-lead role.
• Strong Node.js/TypeScript backend experience.
• Experience with Temporal or comparable durable workflow platforms.
• Strong distributed systems fundamentals: event-driven, retries, idempotency.
• Experience designing Kafka producer/consumer patterns in production.
• Experience with Transactional Outbox patterns and delivery reliability.
• Leadership to guide a small pod and coordinate cross-team work.
• Experience operating cloud-native systems on Azure with Kubernetes and CI/CD.

Mansioni

• Own end-to-end orchestration pod delivery: planning, execution, quality, timely shipping.
• Design and build durable workflows on Temporal in Node.js/TypeScript for long-running journeys.
• Own the action delivery pipeline from decision publication to activation and receipts.
• Implement Transactional Outbox, idempotency, retries, DLQ handling, and delivery receipts.
• Own activation integrations to Adobe Experience Platform and downstream Kafka patterns.
• Contribute code alongside the team: Temporal workflows, Node.js services, Kafka components.
• Make day-to-day architecture decisions: workflow design, state modeling, API contracts.
