You will guide durable workflows, long-running journeys, and reliable action delivery across member engagement channels. You will write code, lead a small pod of engineers, and be accountable for end-to-end durability, observability, and timeliness of actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 6+ years in full stack software engineering, with 1–2 years in tech lead.
• Strong Node.js/TypeScript backend experience.
• Hands-on with workflow orchestration platforms; Temporal preferred.
• Strong distributed systems fundamentals and event-driven design.
• Experience designing Kafka producer/consumer patterns.
• Experience with Transactional Outbox patterns.
• Ability to lead a small pod and mentor engineers.
• Experience on Azure or equivalent cloud with Kubernetes.
• Clear communication with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery for the orchestration pod: planning, execution, quality, and shipping on time.
• Design and build durable, long-running workflows on Temporal in Node.js/TypeScript.
• Own the end-to-end action delivery pipeline from decision publication through activation and receipt processing.
• Own activation integrations with Adobe Experience Platform and Kafka output patterns.
• Contribute code alongside the team, including Temporal workflows and services.
• Make day-to-day architecture and contract decisions for the pod.
• Engineer for reliability: idempotency, deduplication, and graceful retries.
• Establish observability, monitoring, and operational visibility.
• Lead and mentor engineers and coordinate with partner teams.
• Surface dependencies and risks early for smooth delivery.
