Bixal is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and maintain Federal platform applications using Java, Spring, and Oracle. You’ll deliver fixes, implement new features, and ensure 24/7 production readiness across cloud and on-prem environments.

Join an agile team in a role that blends mature codebases with modern development practices, reporting to a security lead and collaborating with cross-functional colleagues.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional full stack software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Java and the Spring Framework.
• Experience with Oracle SQL and relational databases.
• Experience in Linux server environments (Red Hat preferred).
• Front-end development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience with automated tests and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Experience supporting live production systems and agile teams.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust for federal contract.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain features, services, and APIs across Java and Spring applications backed by Oracle.
• Deliver defect fixes, patches, and enhancements in Linux and Tomcat environments.
• Resolve escalations and ensure production stability and security.
• Apply security updates and remediate vulnerabilities with security lead.
• Write automated unit, integration, and regression tests with ≥90% code coverage.
• Deploy changes through automated CI/CD pipelines and support rollbacks.
• Build and maintain reports using JasperReports or Crystal Reports.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and cross-train to shift capacity.
