WellTheory Technologies, Inc. is hiring a software engineer to own breakages and reduce their recurrence. You will triage issues, size impact, reproduce, and determine fixes with a focus on upstream improvements.

You will work across member app, Care Hub tooling, and data pipelines, collaborating with Care Team and Support staff in a fully remote, US-based team. 4+ years of experience and TypeScript fluency are expected.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years as a software engineer and fluency in TypeScript.
• Tech stack includes TypeScript/JavaScript, React, React Native, Node, Postgres and GCP.
• Generalists who learn fast and make good trade-offs.

Aufgaben

• Triage first: size impact, reproduce the issue, decide next move.
• Find root cause by digging through logs and codebase, ship fixes when worth it.
• Unblock reporters, then decide if the problem earns a ticket.
• Kill recurring issues by maintaining a prioritized backlog and durable fixes.
• Write runbooks, build alerts, and create automations to cut ticket volume.
• Protect the queue: a ticket means worth doing.
• Handle member data with care.
