Job summary

CVS Health is seeking candidates for its Infrastructure Software Engineering Program (ISEP), a two-year development path to become a full-stack automation engineer in IT Security, Automation, Network, Cloud, and AI. The program includes training, hands-on experience, and mentorship within a fast-paced IT organization, with a focus on Agile, DevSecOps, and XP.

Fully remote, with preference for East Coast home bases.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in IT position (academic or professional).
• 6+ months of experience programming, developing, or coding.
• Experience with Python, PowerShell, YAML, data structures, algorithms, front-end design.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the support of existing applications and/or development efforts.
• Writing high-quality code compliant with enterprise and industry regulations.
• Proactively monitoring industry trends and identifying opportunities to implement new technologies.
• Creating and executing required test scenarios/plans to ensure complete testing on all new and changed components.
• Sharing knowledge openly and willingly with other IT business personnel.
• Work within model delivery frameworks (Agile, XP, Kanban).
