Job summary

CVS Health is offering a two-year Infrastructure Software Engineering Program (ISEP) to train you as a full‑stack automation engineer in a fast‑paced IT environment. You will learn, code, and deliver in Agile, DevSecOps, and XP practices while supporting our cloud, security, and AI initiatives.

Applicants should have 1+ year in IT, 6+ months coding, and experience with Python, CI/CD, cloud platforms, and security concepts. This fully remote role prefers East Coast locals.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a relevant IT position.
• 6+ months of experience programming, developing, or coding.
• Experience with Python, PowerShell, YAML, algorithms, data structures, front-end design.
• Experience with CI/CD, writing and testing code, and delivering enterprise-wide applications (e.g., Agile, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with cloud concepts and providers (Azure, GCP, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
• Experience with data integration and relational/non-relational databases.
• Experience with cybersecurity and network security (NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, risk management, security architecture).
• AI/ML concepts strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the support of existing applications and/or development efforts.
• Writing high‑quality code compliant with enterprise and industry regulations.
• Proactively monitoring industry trends and identifying opportunities to implement new technologies.
• Creating and executing required test scenarios/plans to ensure complete testing.
• Sharing knowledge openly with other IT personnel.
• Work within model delivery frameworks (Agile, XP, Kanban).
