The ideal candidate has 2+ years in public accounting, strong QuickBooks Online skills, and the ability to manage multiple clients independently in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of public accounting or CPA firm experience required.
• Strong QuickBooks Online experience.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Full-cycle bookkeeping and month-end close experience.
• Payroll processing and sales tax filing experience.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and general ledger accounting.
• Excellent client service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online.
• Perform monthly closes, reconciliations, and adjusting journal entries.
• Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and reports.
• Process payroll and support reporting.
• Prepare and file sales tax returns.
• Serve as the primary accounting contact for assigned clients.
• Support clients with QuickBooks Online and related cloud-based applications.
• Build trusted client relationships through proactive communication and financial guidance.
