Job summary

Sinch is seeking a Software Engineer II for the Mailgun Send team. You will build frontend experiences with React and TypeScript, delivering intuitive email workflows and reliable features for customers and internal teams.

You will collaborate with product, design and engineering, building data-heavy interfaces and integrating with backend services. This remote role requires proximity to an hub location (Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; San Antonio, TX; Denver, CO) for occasional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience building SPAs and reusable frontend components.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and frontend state management.
• Strong HTML/CSS knowledge and modern frontend practices.
• Experience with Cypress, Jest, or Playwright.
• Familiarity with Git, code review, and CI/CD workflows.
• Good collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain frontend apps using React and TypeScript.
• Develop reusable UI components.
• Create data-heavy interfaces with tables, filtering, and forms.
• Integrate with backend APIs handling async data and errors.
• Collaborate with product, design and engineering to deliver features.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting production issues.
• Contribute to development practices and technical discussions.
