Job summary

SOUND DECISIONS is hiring a Software Engineer focused on the front-end within a full-stack context. You will own UI features end-to-end in a fully remote setup, collaborating with a small team and backend peers to ship data-driven UI that leverages AI tools in daily workflows.

The ideal candidate brings 3-5 years of deep React/JS experience, comfort working autonomously, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment while staying aligned with product goals.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience with depth in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Ability to work with real autonomy and minimal supervision.
• Backend exposure (Java, Scala, or C#) is a bonus, not a gate.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Own front-end features end to end—from UI/UX implementation through shipping using JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Collaborate with a small backend-leaning team to integrate front-end work with core product services.
• Leverage AI development tools as part of the workflow while ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Adapt to a small-company pace and ambiguity and contribute to front-end practice growth.
