Job summary

Sinch is seeking a Software Engineer II for the Mailgun Send team to build modern frontend experiences using React and TypeScript for customer-facing Mailgun and internal Admin applications. You will craft intuitive email workflows and data-heavy interfaces while partnering with product managers, designers, and engineers.

This is a remote opportunity, but candidates should reside near hub locations for occasional collaboration: Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; San Antonio, TX; Denver, CO.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience building single-page applications and reusable frontend components.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and managing frontend state.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern frontend practices.
• Experience with Cypress, Jest, or Playwright.
• Familiarity with Git, code review, and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
• Develop reusable and scalable UI components.
• Build data-heavy interfaces with tables, filtering, reporting, and forms.
• Integrate with backend APIs, handling async data, loading states, errors, and validation.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver features.
• Improve performance, usability, accessibility, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting with teams.
