Job summary

SMX is seeking a Software Engineer - Front End Web Applications to contribute to the design, build, support of the BAS solution. You will work remotely with a DC-based customer and must maintain Public Trust clearance.

You will develop enterprise web applications using SAP Analytics Cloud and JavaScript, review requirements, implement interactive UI components, optimize performance, and participate in code reviews to deliver scalable, secure software for federal contracts.

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience in front-end web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS).
Experience with REST APIs and data formats such as XML and JSON.
U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

Build enterprise planning and reporting applications using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or other web technologies.
Review application requirements and interface designs.
Develop and implement highly interactive UI/UX components.
Monitor and improve front-end performance.
Document application changes and updates.
Provide feedback on the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Optimize web applications for scalability and speed.
Participate in code reviews and collaborate with team members.
