Job summary

Edconic is seeking a Front-End Developer to join our web team fully remotely within the United States. You will own public-facing sites, landing pages, and email templates, collaborating with designers, IT, and MarTech to keep brand identity while delivering fast, accessible pages built on WordPress.

You will work on modern block-based WordPress themes and classic PHP templates, ensure code quality, and stay current with web standards.

Qualifications

4+ years of front-end web development experience.
Strong HTML/CSS/JS foundations with PHP and WordPress.
Ability to build a custom WordPress theme from scratch using PHP templates and Advanced Custom Fields.
Experience building and testing HTML emails.
Strong UX/UI sensibilities and proactive, self-directed working style.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain public-facing websites, micro-sites, and landing pages in collaboration with our lead developer, IT, and MarTech.
Work with UX/UI designers to translate designs into polished, responsive pages aligned with each brand.
Build and maintain custom WordPress themes across modern block-based and classic stacks.
Collaborate to shape coding standards, tooling, and migrate sites toward a modern stack.
Stay current on emerging web standards and bring ideas to the table where they fit.
