Job summary

Edconic is seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to join our web team. You’ll own public-facing sites and email templates, collaborating with designers, IT, and MarTech to deliver fast, brand-consistent pages.

You’ll be one of two developers, working with the lead developer on a modern WordPress stack with a focus on craft and maintainable code. This remote role serves US-based needs with minimal process overhead.

Qualifications

• Ability to build a custom WordPress theme from scratch using PHP templates and ACF.
• Experience with Git/GitHub, PRs, code reviews, and npm-based tools.
• Experience building and testing HTML emails.
• Strong UX/UI sensibilities and attention to detail.
• Self-directed, able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain public-facing websites, micro-sites, and landing pages with the lead developer, IT, and MarTech.
• Translate designs into polished, responsive pages staying true to each brand.
• Build and maintain custom WordPress themes across modern blocks and traditional PHP stacks.
• Collaborate to shape coding standards, tooling, and workflow; migrate sites to a modern stack.
• Stay current on emerging web standards and bring practical ideas.
