Job summary

Edconic is seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to join the web team that owns all Edconic digital assets, from school sites to landing pages and email templates. You will work with designers, IT, and MarTech to deliver solutions that protect brand identity and meet business needs, with real ownership and minimal process overhead.

You will be one of two developers, reporting to the lead developer, and contribute to a modern WordPress stack including block-based builds and classic PHP

Qualifications

4+ years of front-end web development experience.
Strong semantic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress.
Experience with React or Vue.
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain public-facing websites, micro-sites, and landing pages with the lead developer, IT, and MarTech.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into responsive pages that honor brand identity.
Create and maintain custom WordPress themes across modern block-based and classic PHP templates.
Shape coding standards, tooling, and workflow with the team and migrate sites toward the modern stack.
Stay current on web standards and contribute ideas that fit the product direction.
