Job summary

Edconic is seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to join our web team, owning public-facing sites, landing pages, and email templates. You’ll collaborate with designers, IT, and MarTech to deliver fast, accessible pages that stay true to each brand.

You’ll work on a modern WordPress stack, build custom themes, and help shape coding standards with the lead developer. This fully remote US role offers ownership, craft, and a path to impactful projects.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of front-end web development experience with semantic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress.
• Ability to build a custom WordPress theme from scratch using PHP templates and Advanced Custom Fields.
• Strong CSS skills across Sass and modern CSS, plus vanilla JavaScript.
• Experience working with Git/GitHub, PRs, code reviews, and npm-based build tools.
• Willingness to write semantic, accessible HTML with focus on performance, cross-browser compatibility, and SEO.
• Experience building and testing HTML emails.
• Strong UX/UI sensibilities and attention to detail.
• Proactive, self-directed working style with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain public-facing websites, microsites, and landing pages in collaboration with the lead developer and teams.
• Translate design feasibility into polished, responsive pages that stay true to each brand.
• Build and maintain custom WordPress themes across modern block-based builds and classic PHP templates.
• Collaborate on coding standards, tooling, and workflow; help migrate sites to the new stack.
• Stay current on web standards and contribute ideas that fit the project.
