Job summary

Edconic is seeking a Front-End Developer to own and build web experiences across school websites, landing pages, and emails. You’ll work with designers, IT, and MarTech to deliver fast, brand-faithful pages on a modern WordPress stack, with ownership and minimal process overhead.

You will contribute to semantic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, ensure accessibility, and collaborate on standards, tooling, and migration to a unified stack. Fully remote within the US.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of front-end web development experience with semantic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress.
• Ability to build a custom WordPress theme from scratch using PHP templates and Advanced Custom Fields.
• Strong CSS with Sass and modern native CSS features; solid vanilla JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain public-facing websites, micro-sites, and landing pages with the lead developer, IT, and MarTech.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into responsive pages faithful to each brand.
• Create and maintain WordPress themes across modern block-based and classic stacks.
