Job summary

Axiom is seeking a ZK Proof Engineer to implement and optimize cryptographic code for zero-knowledge proof generation. You will bridge low-level hardware interfaces with compiler frameworks and database backends to enable fast, secure ZK systems.

You will optimize provers, implement new ZK circuits, and influence design choices to build scalable, private software infrastructure in a fast-paced crypto fintech environment. Strong math/crypto background and Rust proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong background in math or cryptography, or excellent problem-solving with interest in ZK.
• Proficiency in Rust; capability in C/C++ or similar high-performance backend language.
• Detail-oriented with a security-focused mindset and solid software engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Implement and optimize cryptographic code for zero-knowledge proof generation.
• Interface between low-level systems (RISC-V) and compiler frameworks (LLVM/MLIR) and database backends.
• Develop and optimize ZK provers and design novel ZK circuits.
• Make design choices to enable rapid development of secure and efficient systems.
